His first appearance was in 1985 in <a href=\"http:\/\/cpwp.comptonplayers.co.uk\/?page_id=327\" xlink=\"href\">Pink String and Sealing Wax<\/a> as Dr O\u2019Shea; this was to be the start of him acting with the Compton Players.\u00a0 He was involved as an actor, director, or with lights\/sound in over 30 productions.<\/p>\n<p>From about 2010 onward Mike pursued a professional career, and he also acted with the Sinodun players.
